1. Search instantly

Query previously enriched profiles with combined filters. Responses come straight from the store — no scraping queue, no per-profile wait.

2. Cut with include/exclude

Target one company's engineers while excluding your own, or a competitor's. Company filters accept URLs, universal names, or numeric IDs.

3. Re-enrich the winners live

Push your shortlist through the People API (1 credit each) for the profile as it exists right now — or attach a job_change signal and let it watch.

Every filter, multi-value by default

Values within a field are OR'd; fields are AND'd together.

Frequently asked questions

It's Datamagnet's own store of previously enriched profiles, exposed as a search endpoint. Because it queries already-collected records instead of fetching from the live professional network, results return instantly and searches never consume live collection capacity.

Live searches query the professional network at request time — maximum freshness, at live-lookup speed. The DB search trades a little freshness for instant responses over profiles Datamagnet has already enriched. Many teams use DB search for fast candidate pools, then re-enrich the shortlist live for current data.

Values within one field are OR'd (cities: ["San Francisco", "New York"] matches either), and different fields are AND'd together. Company filters accept a LinkedIn URL, universal name, or numeric ID, with matching exclude support. Filters with a fixed vocabulary — seniority, functions, degree levels, employment types — reject a value they don't recognise and tell you what is accepted, instead of returning an empty page.

A flat 10 credits per search, up to 50 results per page. Re-enriching any result live afterwards is the standard 1 credit via the People API.
